Some roulette bets may only be available on specific tables \u2014 the Basket bet, for example, can only be found at American roulette tables. Before you actually begin placing your wagers, give the rules a quick glance.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"OUTSIDE_WAGERS_IN_ROULETTE\"><\/span>OUTSIDE WAGERS IN ROULETTE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Inside and Outside bets make up the two major categories of roulette bets.<\/p>\n<p>To put it simply, Outside wagers are all the bets that can be placed outside the betting area. These wagers are also referred to as even-money bets as they offer a payout of 1:1. These stakes are often considered to be much easier to place than Inside bets, as these bet combinations cover almost all the numbers on the roulette wheel, giving players greater chances of winning. By placing this even-money bet , players will be betting on either all 18 red numbers or all 18 black numbers. The zero is not included in this bet.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"INSIDE_BETS_IN_ROULETTE\"><\/span>INSIDE BETS IN ROULETTE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Inside stakes are roulette bets that make the second major betting category. These stakes are basically all the bets that can be placed inside the betting area. If you\u2019re unsure of where these stakes can be placed exactly, the table will indicate each bet position in its layout.<\/p>\n<p>Inside stakes are generally quite risky to place as they do not offer the best roulette odds. That said, however, their high-risk levels are paired with great payouts \u2014 much greater than the payouts offered by Outside stakes. Also known as a five-number bet or Top Line bet, the Basket stake involves wagering on the 0, 00, one, two and three pockets.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SNAKE_BET\"><\/span>SNAKE BET<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Snake bet is another not-so-common wagering option on this list. What makes these stakes different is the fact that they are generally \u2018called out\u2019 or \u2018announced\u2019 instead of simply placing your chips on the table. As its name implies, this bet places chips on the numbers that are closest to zero (on a single-zero roulette wheel), including\u00a0 22, 18, 29, seven, 28, 12, 35, three, 26, zero, 32, 15, 19, four, 21, two, 25.<\/p>\n<p>With this bet, players must place two chips are placed on the zero, two, three trio, one on the four\/seven split, one on 12\/15, one on 18\/21, one on 19\/22, two on 25\/26\/28\/29 corner, and one on 32\/35.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"JEU_ZERO\"><\/span>JEU ZERO<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Also referred to as the \u2018zero game\u2019 bet, the Jeu Zero bet involves wagering on the 12, 35, three, 26, zero, 32 and 15 and requires a minimum of four chips.<\/p>\n<p>With this bet, three chips are placed on splits (zero\/three, 12\/15, 32\/35) and one chip is bet straight up on 26. This bet is very popular in German and European casinos, birthing a few variations, including \u2018Zero Spiel Naca\u2019 which featured an additional bet on 19.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"TIERS_DU_CYLINDRE\"><\/span>TIERS DU CYLINDRE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This bet involves wagering on the 12 numbers that are on the opposite side of the wheel, including 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, eight, 23, 10, five, 24, 16, and 33. This bet can be directly translated to \u2018thirds of the wheel\u2019 and requires a total of six chips to be placed.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ORPHELINS_A_CHEVAL\"><\/span>ORPHELINS \u00c0 CHEVAL<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This wagering option covers the two slices of the wheel outside of the Tiers and Voisins bets, wagering on a total of eight numbers. These include 17, 34, six, one, 20, 14, 31, and nine.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NEIGHBOUR_BET\"><\/span>NEIGHBOUR BET<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A neighbour bet requires placing one chip on one number and the two numbers that neighbour it on the wheel.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"FINAL_BETS\"><\/span>FINAL BETS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A Final bet is a stake placed on numbers with the same end\/final digit.
